Bitter Sweet Family Visit

My mom, step dad, and sister will be visiting me today. I was so happy thinking they would be visiting for a few days but turns out they will only be here tonight and tomorrow they plan on leaving back home. My step dad worked today and I thought since he had a half day that he would be out of work earlier and that they would have already left by now. Turns out he is just now on his way home. They won't be getting here until literally tonight, So I will only be abe to spend a few hours with them total because I am sure they are just going to be tired and asleep in no time. Unless I decide to wake them up super early so we can make the most out of the day together.
I am not sure when they plan on leaving tomorrow but I am torn between feeling really happy I get to see them and at the same time just upset and wondering why even bother coming if you won't be here for even a full 24 hours depending on when they decide to leave. Of course the day time they are going to be here is Sunday and I am not sure how many places will be open for us to go to on a Sunday. I wish so much that they were closer to us. The good thing is it will basically be me and my family alone tonight because my in laws will be going out and my husband works tonight leaving me, my son, mom, stepdad, and sister home alone. I will try to squeeze as much fun in tonight and tomorrow as I can and enjoy the little time we get together. I wish my stepdad could just leave my mom and sister here and we could just take em to a bus stop.
Am I wrong for feeling the way I do?

I understand what your conflict is. I would wonder why bother, too. In October I am going down to see my daughter- its been years since we got together. My few days are going to be crammed with every second of her that I can get cause it will be years again before I see her.

@IvySaysHi My daughter lives in Arizona. I live in Washington state. Plane fares are not cheap and there is always something that needs me here at home.

You aren't wrong, but nothing you can really do. So just make the most of it.

No, you are not wrong . . I would also feel the same way especially if my mother and sister live thousand miles away and seldom visit me. Bus stop?! You mean they live not far from your place?

They are about 4 hours away. Bus stops would only bring them half way
