Good morning.
A look at the King.Every now and then I think of Elvis
It has been well over forty years.
He died in the year of 1977
My whole family was in love with him.
He was our rock and still is.
The kids adored him and never fail to watch American bandstand or the Ed Sullivan show.
He is alive in each one of us.We were fortunate enough to love him.
Yes,Elvis is alive.

My mom had a lot of Elvis records, so I grew up listening to him. There's something in his repertoire for everyone.

I was not a fan when he first hit the scene - I didn't become a fan until his comeback - it was the leather outfit that got me!

I close my eyes and remember the time when my father (so sweet!) took me to the cinema to see Jailhouse Rock. All my life has been entwined in some way with Elvis. Long live THE KING!

@amadeo I remember the Ed Sullivan show. That one when the cameras stopped showing his lower part

I am from a different culture, I did not know Elvis like you all did, and though I did listen to his music and watched his movies, I am sorry but as an outsider he did not strike as an extraordinary singer. I listened to Beatles as well, because they were supposed to be great, and yes, I did find some numbers striking a chord. But Elvis no. I am so sorry. It is cultural preferences I guess.
