YOUR FORTUNES -- WOULD YOU WANT TO KNOW?

Would you want to know what the future holds for you - good or bad? . Years ago a colleague of mine made frequent trips overseas to visit her favorite fortune teller. I don't know what she was told or what advice she received during those visits - but I do know she prospered tremendously.
Personally , I would prefer not to know what lies ahead for me. If unpleasant happenings are forecast and I am forewarned and could do something differently to avoid those things happening -- then maybe I would want to know. However, if nothing can be changed - then why would I want to spend every day being miserable while I wait.
Have you ever visited a fortune teller - and would you?

@Kandae11 There must be a good reason why the Bible discourages us from going to fortunetellers and the like.

No I haven't but my vibrations for myself is that more good things will come to my life and if ever problems will come I know they will not be that hard to handle. I feel positive about my future

No, I never have visited a fortune teller and I wouldn't. I wouldn't want to know my future, for the same reasons you gave, but another reason I wouldn't visit a fortune teller is that I don't believe in them, so it wouldn't do me much good.

@Kandae11 I believe that whatever happens with us whatever comes in our way, it is God's gift to us.

I have visited a fortune teller but only for fun not for serious consultation. I don't believe others can see the future.

When I was in my teens we had a neighbor who knew a bit about reading palms although she didn't do it for money. So she really wasn't a fortune teller but one day she asked to see my palm. When she saw it she said, "I hope you don't get a swelled head in the future." She would never tell me anything more than that. Well, I have never really done anything that would case me to have a "swelled head."

Yes but these were people that did not charge money. All of it came true.
I would go see them now but they both were old and have passed away.BUT.... I also find the unknown exciting.

The truth, I don't really want want will happen to me in the future... I'm afraid. This is also the reason why I don't visit any fortune tellers. What tomorrow brings to me, I just let it without knowing it in advance.

I'm like Felix, I "never have and never will" seek out those that claim to predict the future. I've learned from the Bible that dabbling in occult practices is condemned by God (Deuteronomy 18:10-13).
The Bible let's me and others know about the future and what it will be like for obedient mankind and the earth. So, according to God's Word, the future looks bright, happy and good.
WHY pay out your hard earned?? money to fortunetellers (who are influenced by wicked demonic forces) to find out about the future of the world, the future of the earth and what the future holds for you personally? You can find out about the future for FREE by learning what the Bible says (John 17:3).
When a person takes in accurate knowledge from the Bible and applies it's fine counsel in their own personal life, this pleases God and He assures and promises those that love Him, those that love His son Jesus, and those that love God's Word the Bible, a bright, happy, and peaceful future (PSALMS 37:37).
