It Was Delightful To Me, Just Delightful!

Well, it is a day late, because 1st of September is Spring Day in South Africa, so I should have shared this yesterday, but I just could not find the time, because I can't find my feet lately, and so I am sharing this on our second day of Spring.
It is not life alteringly important, but it was absolutely delightful to me! 1:30am in the wee hours of the 1st September, we got our first spring shower! Yes, after a dry winter, I saw lightning flash, heard thunder rumble and heard rain pattering against the window! It, people, was a beautiful moment, I tell you! I was grinning like a fool, lol.
Uh, and that was it, delightful to me, but for those tired of rain, not so much, so sorry if it is a bit disappointing, I did a little dance though, a jiggle wiggle, a boogie, lol! I do however wish everyone a fantastic September and I hope you'll all have a good weekend. How is it going with you in your part of the world?
Photo is of, I think another type of fat plant, that I took a shot of while walking, just to add some green to the day

I am so glad that you got the rain, wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone got only the rain they need!! That would be a wonderful thing.

I'm happy to hear you enjoyed a nice spring shower! We've been getting a lot of rain here in Florida, but thankfully nothing like what poor Texas got hammered with!

@moffittjc , I LOVE thunderstorms too!
. But yes, balance is aways good. And way to go on the bright side. I have to go and buy some groceries now. Have a good day and catch you later.

@bluesa Actually, I'm not too fed up with all the rain, as I LOVE thunderstorms! But having a little sunshine every now and then is also a good thing. If I look on the bright side, all this rain and storms and clouds has kept our summer temperatures lower than normal!

I'm happy you received that wonderful rain and hope your springtime is beautiful! It will turn to Autumn September 21st here, but we are having a much cooler than usual week. It's nice and refreshing. However, we will still get more hot and humid days for a while. Love that fat plant!

When my children were small we went for an extended period with no rain...not a drop....when the rain came in the middle of a summer afternoon, the children and I went outside to run around in the rain. Hubby though we were crazy. That's what memories are made of....over 30 years later the children still remember dancing in the rain.
