Diary 2nd To 4th Of September 2017 / myLot

Diary Saturday 2nd September 2017 A day in after so much travelling around in the week. Much of my day was spent online job hunting, writing, and watching Youtube. Diary Sunday 3rd September 2017 The anniversary of Britain’s entry into World War Two just as the US and North Korea push dangerously close to starting the next one with Korea’s latest nuclear tests. My day was much as Saturday but with lots of preparation for Monday too. Diary Monday 4th September 2017 The last few months have been quiet as the University was closed for the Summer holidays, greatly reducing the amount of voluntary work available, but today the students returned to campus and the week started with a long training day for me and others on social work course provision. We were treated to a free lunch half way through. It was nice to see the other volunteers again too. Arthur Chappell

Sounds like a nice relaxing weekend and a busy Monday. I hope you get to relax once you get home after your training session. School starts back up here Wednesday for the kids and college kids start Tuesday.

Back already?? I know universities in Scotland go back early, but when I went to uni on the weekend of the nineteenth of September, that was REALLY early. Glad it gives you the opportunity to volunteer though.
