Favorite "Silent" Songs #1 - "Silence"

After the abomination that was our yard sale, I'm back, albeit sporadically (we're moving. More on that later.) It's time to finish up my Favorite "Silent" Songs series. At #1 is "Silence" by Delirium.
If it seems like I just used this, it's because I have, in my recent "electronic" songs countdown. It's not like I've never used songs twice in these things, but never this soon. I apologize, but "Silence" is such a beautiful piece of music that I simply can't avoid it.
Quickly, Delirium is a Canadian electronic act comprised of Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber, who had previously worked together in industrial band Frontline Assembly (I've met both, after a Delirium show. Nice guys.)
The polar opposite of Frontline Assembly, Delirium is gorgeous. And although fellow Canadian Kristy Thirsk handles a lot of their vocals, the duo uses various female guest vocalists, such as Sixpence None the Richer's Leigh Nash on their records.
The biggest name the duo has used is Sarah McLachlan, who performed the vocals on "Silence," and she set the bar pretty high for all who followed. And as strong as her career has been, I feel that "Silence" is her best work.
Yes, it's that good.
If you've heard one Delirium song, odds are that it's "Silence." (This is very possible. You know those Internet jukeboxes in bars? I've played this and gotten "I haven't heard this in a long time" comments from people showing an interest in nothing but standard bar music.)
Check it out and see for yourself!

@TiarasOceanView - You too. It was awful. No business. Very slow, it was definitely the wrong weekend.

I can see why you'd use it more than once. I've never done that myself (as today's solo Beatles song proves
)....
Good series!!

@teamfreak16 -- good luck in moving. I haven't moved in 28 years (did enough of it in the Navy), but I do remember what an awful pain in the gluteus maximus it is.

@FourWalls - I hate moving. We've been in this complex six years.

@teamfreak16 That's a shame. You'd think you would have had a lot of traffic.

@NJChicaa - It was all day-tourist traffic with no yard sale interest, though. But it was the only dry weekend this month. Bad timing.

We might as well not have had it. Lesson learned: never have a yard sale in Manitou on a holiday weekend.

What happened to Sarah Mclachlan? It's like she disappeared after the Lilith Tours.

She's still at it. She just put out a new album last year.

@librarygeek1980 - And it's such a sad song of hers that they use on those commercials.

Sorry the yard sale was a bust, I haven't heard that song in quite awhile. Look forward to hearing about your moving adventures (or misadventure) on a side note, I did finally get around to posting my musical journey on Saturday.
