So Good It Hurts!

I confess: I have an addiction. And that addiction is to...caramel apple pops! I usually only buy them during the fall when they're out with all the Halloween candy. But they're so good, I could easily sit and eat them all day long -- except for one problem.
The darn things hurt my mouth! The caramel gets stuck to my teeth, nearly ripping out my fillings (and even my front caps!) when I take the sucker out of my mouth, and the sour flavor from the sucker itself makes my tongue sore. Why must they taste so good but hurt my mouth so bad? Why??
Ahh, well. I guess at least that prevents me from eating too many in one sitting. Although I love them so much, I might just suffer through the pain and overindulge on them anyway.

@LadyDuck Mmm...those are all good too. My love of sweets and desserts is why I have a hard time losing weight.

I prefer dark chocolate to milk chocolate. But I won't turn down most candies. Sweets are my weakness.

I love dark chocolate! My favorite dark chocolate candy is the Milky Way Midnight bar.

@Srbageldog omg, that is one of my favorites. A couple of weeks ago there was a box on the counter near the register of the Dollar General. I fought hard not to buy one. I didn't, but wish I had!!

I have never been a fan of caramel or candy apples. I would rather eat each component separately! My favorite Halloween candy has always been the mini Hershey's dark chocolate. My kids would save them for me and give me their stash when they sorted out their candy. LOL.

Dark chocolate is good too. I can't eat real caramel apples (or candy apples,) as they are too hard on my teeth, but I love those caramel apple pops...even though they sure make my mouth sore. (Any sucker or hard candy has that effect on me, actually.)

@ElusiveButterfly I only like most sour candy in moderation. But something about the caramel apple pops I really like.
Although I think I ate too many too soon and now I don't feel like eating any... ha! Made myself sick of them I guess.

I don't normally eat a lot of caramel either. I love actual caramel apples but can't have them anymore because they would just rip my front teeth out (or the caps on them anyway.)
