Durinng the past weekend, my children and their partners togethter with my grandsons took a roadtrip to see the Transformers Exhibition in our Capital as well as a visit to the Zoo. Thinking that the concept of Transformers be far too envolved for my 5 year old grandson, I was pleasently surprised how much he knows WHY, HOW they transform and for what purpose. To save the world as he says! Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are their favourites and during the first stages of the exhibition showing the evolving of the AUTOBOTS the children were a little scared. The sound effects were quite realistic. If you have ever been in a car accident, you will know what Metal on Metal sounds like, which is not always a good sound. They loved all the props and the little movie clips each section had to show. However the newest version of Transformers is a little scary for a 5 year old and I have advised my son to keep that movie on hold for a later year. I myself had a great ride on a Transformer Bike, almost like Tina Turner out of Mad MAX - remember? Then we went to the ZOO - but that if another story altogether. I am suffering from a terrible attack of sinusitis from being excposed to the SPRING blooms of all the bogenvillas over the weekend. How was your weekend.
