Diary Monday 25th September 2017 A day of literally not leaving my flat, which I needed after such an active weekend. I spent the day writing, job searching and watching random Youtubes. It was a nice way to unwind. Diary Tuesday 26th September 2017 In the morning I went to the community centre for their weekly cheap food supply. This is where we can fill a carrier bag with foods close to the sell by dates for a very modest sum. Normally we have been able to pick our own foods but recently, despite an only one of each item rule, many have been grabbing the best of some items in bulk, leaving others, myself included, missing out on some items. A few people were getting angry about this so from today, bags are prepared and we get a bag full each, very much as a pot luck choice, though I was very happy with my bag’s selections. The rest of the day was very much like Monday. Arthur Chappell

Glad you had a nice relaxing Monday. That's nice your community does that with the food to help people out. I think we have something like that once a week but i never go

I think it would be a good rule not to let people grab the best of items in bulk. All could be able to profit of this cheap food day.

There is a weekly food bank in Manitou. They have a one item per person rule. It was always easy to circumvent that, though, even when someone was watching.

Love the days that you unwind, That us neat that they do that, never heard of any places around here selling food like that. Looks like they found a way to fix the greedy ones.

It is nice to unwind on occasion, cheap food is always a good thing especially if it was all good things. Glad they found a solution for the greedy ones.
