Heart Monitor Tomorrow

A few days ago, I had to make a trip to the ER. They recommended that I see my cardiologist and wear a heart monitor for 48 hours. And tomorrow morning is the day that I have to go for this. I was hoping that they would book me for the 24 hours heart monitor, but they chose to give me the 48 hours test. It is a good thing that we have central air conditioning here as it is extremely hot. We do not see this kind of weather usually at the end of September around here. Enjoy the rest of the day.

I have no idea what is entailed in wearing a heart monitor - is it cumbersome? Hoping all goes well with the results and that gets cooler for you out there!

@marlina Ah, now I see why you wouldn't want the longer test! But if it's to help you in the long run, then it'll totally be worth it. The shower tomorrow will be extra nice .

I hate to deal with all the wires attached to your body. No shower either.

I hope that they are able to capture all f the data that they'll need over that 48 hours, you wouldn't want to redo that. In this heat or otherwise.

When you have the 48 hour test they can find out a whole lot more about your heart and body. Good luck with the test. Lets us know the results.

I had to wear that heart monitor, for two days. It was uncomfortable, but it told the doctor what he needed to know.
