Is diet really important?

I have been going to gym from almost 20 days and have observed a slight difference in my weight. Yet I am not maintaining my diet as in I am consuming carbohydrates and everything. My coach in gym told that weight gets reduced even if we don't cut down carbohydrates and this is the best way too since after gym when I will start consuming carbohydrates again, then there will be a rise in weight. So it's better to reduce while consuming everything. What do you think about this?

Yeah, some doctors don't ask what is the custom eating habit of the patient, they just tell diet and that's it, diet. They don't even know what is the eating habits of this person.

The diet is always important, even when you exercise, not only for the weight, but also for your health. Too many carbs is not good.

@cacay1 You are right, we need to eat balanced food, nothing in excess is good for our body (not even the work ).

Diet is important as well if you want to get fit and healthy. You can't out-exercise a bad diet.

To reduce weight you have to cut down carbohydrates, sweets and food rich in fats. We should have every food item in limit. When you overeat,it gets stored in the body as fat..Also we must do exercise daily then only we can burn the fat in our body...
