I watched Anne over the years on many shows including General Hospital where she played Amanda Barrington 1984 to 2004. She married in 1951 to Robert Sterling and they played ghosts on Topper. Sadly, she passed away at 94, so lived a long life and he passed in 2006.
Her career started in 1940 with the opera and first movie role was in 1942 I Married An Angel. I loved watching her on Topper where she played Marion. Did you see her on any shows?

Don't know her, as I started watching GH in 2010 or 2011. But sad she passed.

Sorry that you didn't see her on General Hospital. I think its great that so many people have been able to be on a soap opera and General Hospital started in 1963.

It's sad when we hear of a celebrity passing but 94 is a long life. I did enjoy her in many things especially Topper and of course I've been an avid GH fan for ages

I watched General Hospital for a lot of years with my daughter. She was great on the show for a lot of years.

I have seen Anne Jeffreys in many movies and TV shows. Another link to Hollywood's Golden Age is gone.
