I wanted to buy a pouch to keep my important ID and passport. Went window shopping today, found out that these pouch is not cheap and the workmanship is poor.
Hence, I decided to sew my handmade pouch from my old shorts and pants. Got the zip my my pants, sewing needle and threads from my mother in law . Need to measure my passport first and add a few inches for the hemmings.
I will upload the completed pouch tomorrow once it is done. Cheers!
Do you sew anything?

@peachpurple It was a summer dress, it's already stored for the winter, I will check if there is a photo of me wearing the dress.

why buy when you can make your own quality and beautiful pouch. That is the good thing to do than buying the one in the store.

I used to sew everything. But my hands and eyes are not helping much now so Idon“t anymore. Pouches are important. Carolina did not mind me when she went to Spain and someone stole her passport.

yes, pouch with zip would be better to keep the important documents and to hide them from the public to know what is inside.

I look forward to seeing your finished project once all done. I don't see to hard for me I am a lefty and a lot of things are hard for me to learn how to do because of being left handed

My Kindle case is in back shape. I think it was fake leather and it was coming off in pieces. My mother and I got some fabric and some fabric glue (we can't sew it on the case). We made a book cover for the case.

I'm not much good at sewing. I love quilts. Nobody showed me how to do such things when I was a kid.
