One more class before break!

I can do it-- I can do it-- I can make it through one more class before Fall Break. I'm like the little engine: I think I can, I think I can... and I will then get to the top of the mountain!
Also I have one private flute lesson to teach, but that is a piece of cake as the young lady always practices and does a great job.
What do you tell yourself when it feels like you are pushing uphill, to encourage yourself?

I find a way to motivate myself or try to pump myself up. And incentives are always nice, like a reward when I finish everything that needs to be done haha

Hm, a reward. I think I will deserve some chocolate. Fancy chocolate.

I take a break and get back at it, I usually get it done.

My problem is I can't take a break because the students will show up whether I want time off or not! That being said, it's now afternoon and I'm done with classes, just the private lesson now!

I tell myself that the happiness and satisfaction I would get once I get things done would be worth all the hardship. That keeps me going.

Take your time, focus and keep trying are some thoughts that keep my going.
I like this Nelson Mandela quote about success and trying...

You got this! I tell myself what it will feel like once I accomplish my goal or I think about what will be improved once I reach my goal. That usually encourages me.

I mostly say 'I can do this, I can do this' which is sort of a variation on the 'I think I can' method.

when my students write in the reflective statements that they learned much from their duty at medical ward with me as their clinical instructor, i get invigorated.
