Dramatic Contrasts

Another Mylotter mentioned the colour of the autumn sky in his post (@xFiacre) and it reminded me of the photo I took on Sunday afternoon near the Tidnish Docks.
We stumbled across this location while searching for a beach. As we were nearby, there was also a geocache hidden behind the church. A perfect reason to stop and hav a closer look.
The church was pretty from the front....but from behind, the angles and lines as well as the deep red made such a dramatic contrast to the deep blue October Sky.

Not your typical church colour....but it sure was a pretty little church.

That too. I just found it was a picture that was begging to be taken.

That dark blue sky provides such a good background.

@Morleyhunt I agree and in Autumn when it's cooler and windy, the blue is more deep and beautiful.

It started out rainy and grey...but now the sun is trying to break through the clouds.

The sky was such a deep blue. I had to crop my shadow out of the photo. My daughter also was trying for a photo and kept complaining about her shadow...I told her...edit the shadow out when you get home. Usually she's the techie and I'm to idiot who can't figure it out.
