If a major criteria is popularity, longevity and commercial success, then Bon Jovi is in. But they are not groundbreaking or innovative or unique.

I’m not a Bon Jovi fan, but they have the credentials — fame.
But the #1 induction on this year’s list should be the Moody Blues.

They have been a very popular 80's band and they are still out there touring! Maybe this is the year they are recognized for it.

@teamfreak16 I think influence is more important. Record sales are so inflated today. Some of these nominated artists each year are not really that famous in my view.
