Grampy is Up, Must be Time to Get Up Too!

Little Miss went to bed last night at around 8:00 and was fast asleep before 8:30. She was overtired due to not having a good nap yesterday afternoon. She woke at 10 and I was able to get her back to sleep. Her poor little mouth hurts her still. Thankfully she is no longer running a fever. Today is the first day of bow season for deer in our area. Hubby was getting ready to head out and although he was trying to be quiet, Little Miss woke up. She wanted some milk so we ventured to the kitchen for a sippy cup of milk. Then she wanted medicine for her mouth because of the pain. My guess is that the blisters have opened and are causing her a lot of grief. When I offered her the acetaminophen she refused it. Then she climbed in bed with me and was snuggling, but talking a mile a minute. She heard grampy come in the room and was standing next to the bed. "Hi Grampy!" Conversation continued between them. He kissed her on the forehead, told her he loved her and said she should go back to sleep. Um, yeah, nice thought grampy. She heard him start the truck up and leave. Chatter continued for a little while. She wanted to get up and watch "Finding Dory", which was a DVD we got in the mail yesterday from Netflix. Told her we would when she woke up. After a few minutes of silence, she said she wanted to get back in her bed. Once in her own bed she fell fast asleep. We slept until 7:30, which was so nice! Hoping we get a little sunshine today so she can go outside to play. Four days of being cooped up is rough on a little one.
