Good morning Mylot world. It's 8:53 in the morning here and the sun is up so high.
I had a major operation before. I was diagnosed to have an Ovarian cyst when I was 25 years old and I believe that's how it started having a Kidney Failure. The Doctor diagnosed me said that CT scan is one of the major cause triggered my Kidneys to fail because of the dye that was used to check all parts of my body for a possible growing cyst, and that was no consent from me or to my Family.
Then the second operation I had was my AV Fistula in my right arm for the Dialysis to process. Next time I will have another operation and I still don't know when it will be done.
How about you?

When I was a teenager, my friend and I were play-fighting with a screwdriver and it accidentally slashed my chin and I had to get stitches but it was nothing too serious. About 10 years ago, I had horrible acid reflux and I had to get an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and I had to be put to sleep for the procedure. Again, nothing too serious. That's my experience with hospitals so far.

Yeah and I know I will still need to endure more operations. Good luck to me.

I had a tonsillectomy as a teenager, a hysterectomy at 38, and oral surgery on a tooth.

@JustBhem I had three blockages. It was very painful and a difficult recovery. I would never want to go through that again.

Has these surgeries made any difference to your health in general? I have had two surgeries , one for the removal of appendix and another after A few years for a ligament tear in my knee which took nearly 3 months to heal and after one year of physiotherapy , I was able to walk normally. However, my knee sometimes hurts and swells up in the area where the stitches have been put ( 16 in all)

I had a major operation on my left leg at age 12. I was hit by a car and the bone in the top leg was broken and both bones in the bottom part of the leg were broken. They broke through the skin, so I had to also have plastic surgery done once the bones were healed.

Only surgery would be a pulled tooth.. if that counts? No tonsils, or any other surgery. Though i was scared I would end up having a csection at 15.

this is what I'm so thankful because I never had a major operation in my life. I had a vehicular accidents that cause big wounds in my foot but I didn't undergo any major operation but only the stitching. I am so afraid of this things including the CT scan and even x-ray but I never underwent to this process.

Uh...thank God for that. I had my first experience with stitches only a couple of months ago. I don't wish for a repeat.
