Back to Work After My "Notta-Vacation" Time-off

Well, after a six day stretch of time off, I am back to work today. My client's will think I got lost. I know they have probably asked about my whereabouts. Sadly, my coworkers do not share information with them. So they are all in the blind about what is going on.
Many of them knew that Little Miss would probably be coming down with the illness that she had. I kept them in the loop about that before I disappeared last week.
I am sure that they will be happy to see me return. I have a good relationship with my clients and they appreciate all I do for them.
Little Miss is still sleeping so I have to get her out of bed and ready for daycare. Then I need to get myself ready. We can usually get this accomplished in less than a half hour. Hopefully it will fly today!
Hope you all have a great day. Supposed to rain today and cool down this week. By the weekend we are going to have the warmer temps again. How's the weather in your area?

Glad Little Miss is A-OK now. I am sure that all of your clients will understand.
Here it is raining and gloomy outside. I am loving it. The high 80's are gone and the high today will be 74! I am sure that the state fair goers are not happy about it but I am very pleased.

@Shellyann36 we are going to have warm temps this weekend, but only in the low to mid 70's. I'll take that. Then we are going back to normal temps for this time of year next week.

@Shellyann36 driving in the rain or snow is not something I like. When it is doing either at night, I tend to stay home or have my husband drive.

@ElusiveButterfly I think low 70's are the perfect temps! That would feel great. I am not sure what the high is for today here. It is still dreary outside. I hope I don't have to drive in the rain today.

We have a new roof on our place. Hubby finished shingling it in the summertime. Was so happy to have it done. We had a flat roof for a while. With the pitched roof we no longer have to worry about it leaking.

@YrNemo we don't have a gutter system. I know all too well the nightmares they can cause.
One of my clients had water freeze, build up under the shingles and caused considerable damage to her roof.

@ElusiveButterfly We have trouble here with the gutters. Whenever the rain came too hard and fast, the water flooded the gutter, got inside the roof, etc. such a nightmare. I got it fixed recently, but who knows how long this will last.

Rainy and cool today again, just like Monday. Yesterday was nice, and it's supposed to get nice again by the weekend, same as your weather.

I hope you had a good first day back at work.
The weather here is still warm during the days and cooler at night...it has been very smokey here lately due to all the nearby fires. The sky is muddy and the air quality is horrible.

We just had some drizzle late this afternoon but it did cool off just a little bit. Glad that Little Miss is feeling better and you're able to go back to work
