My Everything Needs A Vacation!

Seriously, I don't know what is going on lately, but each day is busier! It is driving me insane! I can't find my feet. I swear I don't have time to blink (yes, I just checked if I can still blink, lol)
Then, Monday morning ants infested the sides of our ceiling and I had to get rid of them and I ended up way light headed when some poison landed on me, but hey, I survived it! Then it was one thing after another.
Today they fixed the plastic in our carport that was damaged by the hail. Thank goodness I have a bit of quiet time now, I will order pizza tonight instead of cooking, and I am going to try to continue to catch up here, I have been trying through the day, it has been good to see what you all have been up to or what is on your mind. I don't know about you, but my mind needs a vacation. My everything needs a vacation!
Anyone else who could do with a vacation? What would an ideal vacation be for you?

Finally made it here, even though my son is still here. He stepped outside to take a business call. I certainly understand how badly you need a vacation. We are in the process of settling up tree removal estimates. We have more gigantic trees we'd like removed. I guess the only vacation I'll be taking this year is to Florida, which I adore!

You're so busy my dear friend, try to remember to take time to breathe. Good luck with the estimates. I know you are looking forward to Florida, you always have such fun there! I hope you'll have a quieter Wednesday and some time for yourself.

I can very well understand, we had that intervention to get rid of the hornets. Today we had to go to search for another phone, our landline telephone and Internet provider, is changing the system. The next Tuesday a tech guy will be here for the update/upgrade, this means all the day without Internet. It's stressful.

My ideal vacation would be warm, sunny weather by some water, with someone to serve me delicious food and drinks that had no calories...

I will be on vacation next week, but I'm not going anywhere. I'm just going to stay home and catch up on sleep and just rest my mind for a few days.
I don't have any one ideal place for vacation, but I have always wanted to backpack through the Swiss Alps, or surf the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, or enjoy a tropical paradise in Tahiti or Fiji. I would even love to climb Kilimanjaro, or visit a wildlife refuge in Kenya!

I know, hun. And it is good you'll be trying to catch up on sleep and rest your mind. My cousin has climbed Kilimanjaro, he is always looking for adventure. I like your choices I wouldn't mind a chalet in the Swiss Alps where I could sit in front of a fire place and sip hot chocolate.

@bluesa A Swiss chalet high up in the Alps sounds like a wonderful vacation destination! We could snuggle by the fire place for as long as we wanted to!

That's right blame not cooking on the ants. Look on the bright side, a great excuse to enjoy some pizza! Hope you enjoyed some. My favorite meal, snack and desert. Sorry your so busy "C"

Nice to see you dealing with the challenges that come your way. Yes, sometimes we need a rest or vacation. I think my ideal vacation would be to spend some time on a farm with a a garden, an orchard and a vineyard and just spending some time with nature and eating fresh food off the land. What about you?

I would love to one day have a vacation! My dream is to go to the mountains and stay in a log cabin during the Fall time. =)

I had no idea that it could hail in South Africa. You learn something every day... I hope we get a vacation this winter, Mexico sounds good to me.

@bluesa right, although in the news there are so many crimes happening now in my city. just recently, an ex-vice mayor of a town was gunned down by young men who were riding-in-tandem.

I have not been lucky the last 3-4 weeks either, one thing after another happened. You seem to get over your problems, I still have another week and a half to worry about. I would love to be able to dig a tunnel and just hide there. Let hope I could bring along my laptop, and that the internet would be perfectly fine there.
