Do You Have Pets That Like Riding With You?

I knew and have seen dogs riding motorcycles, but wondered, "What about cats?"
So I went to YouTube and was blown away by two exceptional videos.
Here's one of them, a motorcyclist in Hanoi, Vietnam driving with not 1, but 4 cats! 3 at the back, 1 in front.
The video starts from the back, so you will see all 4 cats from the 20-second mark onward.
You will even see the owner petting the cat out front.
We've had dogs and cats growing up, but never thought of taking them for car rides.
How about you or people you know?

in the middle east i remember there were pictures of cheetahs, lions and tigers riding in luxury cars looking out the window. i mean how do you know they're 100% tame? even circus trainers have been hurt or killed by their animal performers.

@hereandthere Animals can always be dangerous. Even a simple cat that gets scared and jump on your head can cause a big accident.

yes, i know people who never thought about having pets. have you seen pets riding in cars, bicycles or motorcycles where you live?

@pradab yes, small dogs/toy dogs are treated like babies. here at the mall, i've seen cats and dogs in strollers being pushed around by their owners

@hereandthere I have seen very occasionally people taking their injured pets on their vehicle....but I have seen pet dogs mainly dachshund and Pomeranian accompany their owners on car

Thanks for sharing the video, it made me smile.
Yup, my dogs are fond of riding in the car. We usually took them to a beach once in a month.

the first cat video that i saw was only one cat with his front paws/claws clinging to the driver's back. but this was unbelievable.
how many dogs do you have? they never get carsick?

@hereandthere I have two. I don't know if they get carsick, they don't show us a clue. They stick their heads out of the car window.

We go to my childhood home every weekend and we bring all our pets with us. That has always been the case for many years now.

We had a cat Toby that rode with my husband in his truck, 4 wheel ATV, tractor, anywhere my husband went.

I wonder if those people ever bothered to consider what would happen to those animals if they had a wreck @hereandthere . To me that's total irresponsibility.

I did not own a car here in Israel and only 6 years ago got my mobility scooter. When we had the chance to ride on a van my dog loved it. My cat that I had before Sophie hated going on my scooter because maybe she knew we were going to the vet. Sophie, my cat I have now, will just go inside of something and not complain and right in the carrier thing in quiet.

People here seem to take their pets everywhere . . . so they're not just going for a ride but actually going some place. Many pet owners here don't like to leave their pets at home alone - so dogs can be seen in stores (if stores allow them, which many of them do now). Wow, I wonder how these cats stay on the motorcycle like that!

I thought it was crazy to have a dog on the back of the bike. But now this guy has three cats on the back and another on the front. I can tell you those cats will survive an accident more compare to their owner. Though it's cute to give them a cozy ride, it's still dangerous for their safety.

That's amazing. We moved our cat once - just a short distance so didn't put her in a box. She got under Vince's feet so he had trouble braking, etc. Then she climbed on his lap and activated the wipers and blinkers. It could have been quite dangerous. She always went in a box after that little ride.

Our pe dog, a shih-tzu, loves to ride the car with my husband; but only near our place.
