This Daredevil Cat Walks On The Hood Then Around The Back of A Moving Truck

So, as promised, here is the other unbelievable cat video that I saw on YouTube when I got curious about cats riding on cars. From the start of the ride, you will see the orange cat cross from the passenger side to the driver side to go out the open window. Then it walks around the hood and stays on the edge like a hood ornament. (I agree with some the comments under the video said it seems to be channeling a Jaguar.) But it did more than that! What's mindblowing was midway through the video (from the 50-second mark onwards), the daredevil cat turned around and started walking around the back of the truck. It never lost its balance while the truck was cruising around the cemetery. Today, while searching for this video to share the link with you, I saw even more amazing videos - mother cats climbing and jumping with kittens in their mouth! I'm just in awe of their sense of balance, agility, flexibility, and no fear of heights. Daredevil Cat Rides On Hood Of Car

I know cats can really do that, as they are so sly when they walk on a top ledge. They even walk with no noise at all. And I think those claws are made for that- to really be clinging on whatever surface they may walk on.

@hereandthere it didn't open in my laptop. But that cat is indeed a daredevil to be able to do it in a moving truck.

did you watch the video? years ago, we had a cat who could walk from the hood to the trunk and vice versa through the "side" of the car, but it was parked in the garage. here the daredevil cat did it while the truck was in motion.

I LOVE that clip. Our little mother cat didn't want to leave her babies in an outside laundry. She would scale the flywire door with a kitten in her mouth and the weight would spring the door open and she'd drop down inside the house.

@hereandthere She would land with a great thump. I was worried she'd hurt the kittens but they all seemed to be okay.

What I observed on cats when you tossed above the cats it can balance immediately and have 4 feet to touch down.

I think cats are amazing and can do lots of things. My cat runs very fast and I believe she is an acrobat at times.I love watching her.

Wow!!! I was less afraid with him on the hood than I was with him walking around the bed!! Yet, I could tell his owner was driving slowly to avoid additional risk. Just wow!

i thought it was just a car, too, at first. i started getting scared when it started walking along the window then at the back and realized it was actually a truck!

They can even sneak and sleep on a small fly jet with out you knowing. Like this pilot over here who was forced to land when he suddenly saw that cat.

This cat is crazy, he is a cute kitty. I have seen a mother cat jumping with her kitten in her mouth in our neighbors garden.

Great video but I'm wondering who was doing the filming. There didn't appear to be anyone in the passenger seat, so the driver must have done it. That would mean him turning round completely when the cat went round to the back of the truck - not very safe, even though the truck was going slowly.

All of the videos are terrific @hereandthere . That first one, I can't believe that the guy wasn't even concerned that the cat was on the truck. That was what you'd call a definite 'hood ornament'.

Cats are experts in balancing. It was good the car was not moving so fast, it could also slip and fall.

I watched my adult cat jump up onto the dresser and go down the 1½-inch (3 cm) space between the dresser and the wall. I thought for sure he was either going to get stuck back there or come out of the 3-inch space underneath the dresser. But, instead, he turned around while still midway between the top of the dresser and the floor, and came back out to the top. If they can fir their whiskers in a hole, they can get in and out of anything. But, somehow, when we can't find them anywhere in the house and are certain they got out, we never stop to think that they may be sleeping underneath a dresser. We never look underneath or move that dresser.

I found out from this kitten we have here, that he has no concept whatsoever of gravity. Empty brain is the right word for him. (We are trying to teach him physics here, let see! )
