Your sister is lucky that the cat cannot turn the faucet on! She might come home to a flooded house one day if the cat could figure it out. Very cute.

cute cat. He (she) was thirsty. Lily doesn't like running water yet. But she will drink the water if it has already ran.

You can tell the cat is thirsted by the hoarseness of voice. Cats love leaky faucets... all the water all the time.

Same with our cat. He only drink water from faucet. If we give him a food, he will check or smell it first. It's like he want to be sure that it's not poison. And he thinks he is the boss of all our cats. He loves to punch every cats in the house everyday.
