No more highway to heaven... Whats next?

My husband and I watched the old TV series "highway to heaven". I love the show! Have you seen it? Its a very peaceful show that demonstrated the value of caring and compassion. Some episodes brought on tears and were hard to watch. Overall, I really loved the series. I'm sad we watched them all. But now we need a new TV series to watch. Do you have any recommendations? We love hells kitchen, mash, etc.

Very good show! I think most of the older ones are better and more family oriented. I really don't have a recommendation as I don't watch TV much.

@Daelii Totally agree, my daughter loves Little House on the Prairie and such. Nowdays the shows to me are not for kids really.

Highway to Heaven also had a lot of humor to it and social justice. I don't watch TV. I do borrow DVDs from the library every so often. The old shows like Father Knows Best are fun.

That's part of why I loved it. I have kept my kids watching the more vintage shows I saw as a kid David the gnome, gummie bears, my little pony. In my humble opinion its way better to show polite kids and good morals than a lot of the common garbage on TV now a days.

There are a lot of great series out there. Have you watched Parenthood? That is one that I really enjoyed, and Sad that it had to end.

I dont ever recall seeing it before but I loved it. I kept waiting for Mary to come out because I do remember seeing the main guy in little house on the prairie!

I have only seen "Highway To Heaven" a few times. Can't recommend anything as I don't watch TV that much.

I dont either which is why I'm looking for suggestions. Its nice to watch a little show in the evening with hubby to unwind. He can relax and I craft!

I only ever saw a couple of episodes of this. We have never watched much TV and for a number of years lived in an area that didn't have TV reception.

I'm not a big TV fan either! I usually crochet or sew while listening! But that series was really nice.
