Sharing writing links and books in FB Groups...

There are sites on Facebook that were specifically created for sharing books and others for sharing content writers publish online. It seems that sharing in those groups doesn't result in anything. I hardly see much activity in the comments for posts there, so it seems that people just post links to their books, blog posts, articles, and other online writings and move on. What's the point of sharing in these groups then if hardly anyone checks out what we post?

@lovebuglena I was back in the day. I find it to be more about stupidity these days. Unless you get into niche type pages. Otherwise it became a dumping ground for fake news and stupid political crap and just the basic same old stuff.

@inertia4 I do hate political posts where people constantly bash the president or Hilary, etc... Just because a person doesn't like someone or what that person stands for, etc. doesn't mean he/she should constantly say bad stuff about that person. I am connected to someone on FB I used to go to high school with (who is a Bernie Sanders fan) and she constantly posts stuff saying bad things about Trump. It annoys the heck out of me.

@lovebuglena Do you mean FB? No, not really. I'm not keen on a lot of the stuff that goes on on FB although I'm sure some of the groups are fun. Vince belongs to several photographic groups and enjoys interacting there.

There are groups where people post their creative writings (poetry, short stories, etc.) and others read them and leave comments, but it seems even there interaction is very little, so hard to know if the works are even being read and by how many.
