Happy Halloween to all of the myLotters that celebrate it! I wish you health and happiness and nice time during this festive period. Halloween becomes more popular in Bulgaria every coming next year. Probably I will write again and in details on this subject in future time too. I intend to explain a lot of things linked to Halloween celebrations. We, Bulgarians, already know that Donald Trump’s Halloween mask costume is among the most popular ones this year. Here in this pic I present one Halloween dish from Bulgaria: a piece of baked pumpkin, a banana, Bulgarian sweet soft drink “boza” with its pure Bulgarian origin and taste, chocolate candies, ecological Bulgarian honey made from forest pines, small sweets, a caramel bar from sesame, Cocoa Swiss Roll with strawberry filling and vanilla flavor filling. Pumpkin is liked food by the Bulgarians too. Here, in Bulgaria, it is produced widely. There are very old Bulgarian receipts and instructions for cooking pumpkin meals. What were your Halloween menus this year (2017)? Thank you for reading.

I make spicy chicken wings, blue cheese dip, appetizers and a panna cotta served with pumpkin jam, that I made at home.

I am off into town shortly to buy pumpkin seedlings. They grow well here and are easily managed.

We have a Donald Trump Mask. My daughter went as Donald Trump last year. Our Halloween dishes are many and diverse. We usually serve the food based on the theme of our party. We had foods arranged like a zombie body the year we did the zombie theme. This year, we did a haunted carnival theme, so we had hot dogs, pop corn, cotton candy, and the halloween themed food such as Cheese-n-stein, and creepy clown face cupcakes.
