This is my favorite food when I go back hometown. One day before my hometown trip I always order this food to be ready for me. I always eat a plateful of this food. I asked her if I could make it on my own but she answered it was too complicated for me to prepare the ingredients.
Have you ever seen this kind of food? It consists of steamed rice wrapped in banana leaves or weaved coconut leaves when being cooked. Spicy sauce, boiled eggs and vegetables.

When you have time to come to Indonesia you will find this easily. Street food vendors usually offer this kind of food.

Those are some interesting ingredients but not too complicated. It looks neat though, I couldn't have it because I'm allergic to eggs but it looks good!

But you will not find this at big restaurants. Even in the city where I work I haven't found it yet.

oh..what a surprise. What do you call this item? It is just...almost looking like Indian Idly Sambar. It will have the same recipe. This is one of my favorites.

this is alike our local malay food called LONTONG, similar ingredients but coconut based gravy
