It was just yesterday when my colleague who is an avid fun of Lazada and Shoppee told us that we can buy products with very low prize in there. All of us in the office got excited when we see products such as office chairs, wrist watch, flashlights, and other household materials which cost 11 to 12 pesos only. After that, she also found out that Unisilver (online) is also having a clearance sale of wristwatch which only cost 11 pesos. We all want to order those wristwatch as perfect gifts for the Christmas. The flashed online sale would start at 5pm and ends at 5:01 so it would be just one minute so my colleague should be alert. Unfortunately, the site crashed and we were all frustrated that we were not able to have those very low price wristwatch. Lazada has a sale on Saturday and we hope we can catch the low price products.

Try to download shop back and use that every time you shop in lazada and other online shops except shoppee because it gives you a certain percentage of your money back. So that's a discount plus rebates when you use shop back.

@toniganzon I have read about it too. On the other hand, I think the prices of products in Lazada is the same and sometimes higher than the prices in the supermarket, that is why I haven't tried purchasing any products from them. Well, the only exception is their promo recently.

@toniganzon What makes you shop more in Althea Korea than in Lazada? It is quite interesting to know.

@annierose yeah. I buy items I couldn’t find here at all. But I rarely buy from Lazada. I use ShopBack to shop in Althea Korea.

@LadyDuck It is originally a German company? You don't do online shopping?

I think they would have predicted that the site would crash if it was only going to be up for a minute. Sounds like a publicity stunt to me.

@JudyEv I think so. After that, my facebook wall was flooded with the reactions of frustrated customers.

Lazada always has that flash sale. I've been shopping in Lazada for almost five years now. However, I now do most of my shopping in Shoppee because I can get an assurance that the product I ordered is worth it and the delivery charge is reasonable. In Lazada, there's a chance that the products you'll receive are defective or not what you expected, although that only happened to me thrice since I make sure to read the reviews before making the order, but sometimes a good offer comes and I can't resist my urge to try it out. The turnoff for me is Lazada's delivery charge, the item may be cheap but the charge could sometimes be twice the amount, and unlike Shoppee where you can get free delivery for a minimum of 500php order per seller, in Lazada it has to be 1,500! So, yeah...go for Shoppee, and if you don't get exactly what is promised you can flag the seller too....

@Daelii I think they have it occasionally. I am not much into online shopping. I try to avoid it because I want to be able to save money so I need to avoid overspending. But if prices are very low like those, it is very practical to grab it before its gone.
