What Happened To Respect And Consideration?

There have been several news items lately on the subject of sexual harrassment and abuse. Both in the movie industry and in politics. I cannot believe that these dirty old men get away with this for so long. I am happy to hear that women are speaking out now. I was so shocked to hear of Bill Cosby. Didn't want to beleive it but, after so many women came forward it is hard not to feel that it probably did really happen. Now there is a producer that has had some women come forward about. And a politician. What makes a man think he has the right to do these things? Did they see this kind of behavior and learn from that or, are they just ignorant? It must be very difficult for women to put up with this and still come to work and do a good job. It is empowering to see these women come forward. There is a strength in numbers and I don't feel these women are just being flip but are coming forward and feeling they are able to do so because others have had the strength to so. Glad they feel safe now to do this. It needs to be done. It is both a crime to do this and it is a crime to let it go and not say anything for so long. I know. Some women do this too. Your thoughts.
