Alarm

my iPhone alarms

Since it is the first semester break and I won't have to wake up at 4:30-4:45 AM, I already turned my iPhone 's alarm off. The only alarm that is turned on is the 6:30PM for the Coumadin intake. But even though the alarm is off, I have already conditioned my sleep pattern to be awake at 4:30. Sometimes too I wake up ahead of the alarm that I have to wait for it to sound so I can put it off. Do you need your alarm adjusted ahead for 10 minutes? Mine is.

I do not need to use an alarm, I always wake up every morning at the same time: 5:45.

@ridingbet When you have habits, you naturally wake up without the need of an alarm.

I very rarely use an alarm, I just tell myself what time I want to wake up and I wake up.

I don't need it to be adjusted ahead, I just set the alarm at the exact time I need to wake up.

right, so even when you need to wake up to prepare yourself for work, you automatically get up at the same time everyday?

I can usually wake up without an alarm and lately I wake up earlier than I am used to. It is good you have your alarm ready. :)

@ridingbet that is a lot to get done. I would probably need about 20 minutes extra if I had to heat water for my bath and prepare breakfast.

i have to have an alarm because i prepare our breakfast and heat some water for the thermos and my bath. this heating of water for my bath is during the cold season. i have to calculate my activities from waking up to changing my clothes to the white uniform, which takes me 10 minutes after bath to do so.

I've seen worse alarms haha I don't wake up with alarms anymore because I don't really have a reason to. I used to wake up super early when I was in high school and had several alarms.

@ridingbet If nothing important is going on, I sleep without alarms. If there is something I have to wake up for, then I will use alarms.

I have two alarms. One set at 3:30am, my time of waking up, and one set at 4:30am, my time of leaving my home to go to work.

@ridingbet my shift starts at 6:00am hence the early time. there is hardly any traffic during this time so when I leave at 4:30am, I get to the office at 5:00am. If there are unexpected delays, I still have a large lead time so I won't be late.

oh, 4:30AM is way too early for me. are you in the capital city? is there traffic even in that early time? or do you work in another city or town?

@allen0187 that is great. our hospital is about 1 and a half kilometer from where i live, and it takes only 5 minutes for a PUJ to reach the health facility. i go out at 6:25am and i can still reach the passing of a jeepney at 6:35am, so i usually arrive in the hospital at 6:45am. the bad thing however is, my students come to late in the hospital.

My alarm is set at 4AM. Before the DST, my work starts at 6 AM. Now, my work starts at 7 AM but my routine in the morning stays the same. Alarm is still at 4 AM because I have to read the bible first thing in the morning.

i guess some of us have our routine activities to do everyday. for me, after my prayer and i still feel sleepy, i play the candy crush before going out of my room. i need to get my brain cells invigorated.
