The 3am Thanksgiving Post!

Wanted to say a good morning to all and happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate. After attempting to lay down around 1030pm, I woke up around 0200 unable to sleep. Have read a little bit and now just going to start my day, what the heck.
Wanted to quickly say THANK YOU to everyone on MyLot here - I am thankful for each and every one of you! Also thankful for my family, friends, health, and employment. I have no major plans on Thanksgiving today but may stop by my dads much later.
Any big plans for Thanksgiving?

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
I hope that you can get a nap in later on today, that might make you feel better.
Our Thanksgiving was in October, so I won't be doing anything fantastic today except for reading about Americans who are celebrating.
But......on the bright side less then 5 more weeks until Christmas, and I DO celebrate that in a very big way.

@maezee I have a Santa and Snowman collection that I put up on our buffet last Sunday. So, I've started. I probably won't put the tree up for another week or so. I find that once its up I cannot vacuum all that well too close to it for fear of knocking something off, so the longer I put off putting it up, the cleaner the house stays.

No problem. I dont believe it exists outside of the US. For many of us it is an excuse not to go to work, and to spend time with our families. And eat. Usually turkey and other hearty foods, but I am a vegetarian. Hope you have a great day.
