Couldn’t sell any photos

Not long ago I was introduced to a website/app that allows you to upload and sell photos online. They pay 5$ per photo but there are higher prizes and contests too. I liked the idea and published the nicest photos I had. But I wasn’t lucky yet. Maybe I need a better camera. But this sure is a great site for professional photographers to earn some extra cash.

Are you using your mobile’s camera to capture photos?

To a professional photographer $5 a photo would be way to little. I assume if they pay that for a photo you would need to enter amazing pictures as they probably get so many sent to them. I love photography. I usually share my photos on my blog, facebook or instagram.

@Madshadi true winning the bigger prize could be enough incentive for them.

Most photos I've seen are amateur. Besides, sponsors hold special contests with as much as 100$ reward. I think that is what professional photographers aim for.

I have many good photos, but my husband is not very happy at the idea that I sell them online.

I wouldn’t sell private photos either. I have good photos of my little one that I’m sure would get sold but I prefer not to. I only upload photos of objects and places.

@Madshadi This is the same thing I would do, I can even take photos just to sell them.
