I did not get promoted...

as the month of November is ending, no one still told me that i got promoted, one of my batch mates is already promoted so i guess the time of informing people are over. I have been in this company for more than 2 years now and i am still at level 1. it just makes me sad that the higher ups do not really see me as someone to promote. I don't really know whether moving to another project will make any difference since it may be back to square one. For now, i will just try and finish this release and think about what to do next.

It sounds disappointing to know that though you were due for promotion, however, your promotion has been withheld for the time being. You could inquire from your HR department about the reasons for withholding your promotion. Our best wishes are with you.

@lady1993 How many employees are there in your company? Do you mean to say that you were found not up to the mark and you need to check with counselor that how you could improve yourself?

they do not have a say to it though, since our company is quit big. We will have a one on one talk with our counselor soon, to see how we can each improve

@dpk262006 yep, that is correct. we will have a talk tomorrow. It is a very big company, our project just happens to be low on budget now so only a few got promoted... it would be nicer in another project i guess

yeah, i am not really close friends with any of my supervisors since they are quite far from us, and only visit like once or twice a year. i hope the on on one talk/call will help me

My batch mate who got promoted did get some awards, so i think he really deserved it. And he was quite visible to the supervisors
