How can a marriage last if two people have absolutely nothing in common? Every little thing turns into an argument even how much sugar goes into the tea. My best friend has gone on twenty years. I admire her endurance.

Not sure why whoever it is you are talking about is still together.

They probably originally thought the other one was "cute" opposites may attract, but similars are more likely to stay together I think.

You have to like a lot of the same things for a marriage to last.

Not for me thank you. Maybe that's their way of knowing they have each other.

I lived like that for 20+ years. I get it. When I finally left my only regret was that I hadnt left soon. You have to live in that situation to truly understand what it is like.

I cannot say that I admire her endurance, this is not a marriage and it will end sooner or later.

Some people enjoy arguing. It's a mystery to me

They say opposites attract but if it reaches a level that makes it impossible to find a common ground then I don't think it's healthy anymore.

My husband and I are opposites. People thought we were crazy when we got married. We have been happily together for years and years. We don't argue, well maybe a little disagree now and then but believe it or not our differences are what makes life interesting.

I don’t think I could put myself through that but I guess some people have their own reasons why they stay , glad me and my fiancé talk things out
