They probably originally thought the other one was "cute" opposites may attract, but similars are more likely to stay together I think.

I lived like that for 20+ years. I get it. When I finally left my only regret was that I hadnt left soon. You have to live in that situation to truly understand what it is like.

They say opposites attract but if it reaches a level that makes it impossible to find a common ground then I don't think it's healthy anymore.

My husband and I are opposites. People thought we were crazy when we got married. We have been happily together for years and years. We don't argue, well maybe a little disagree now and then but believe it or not our differences are what makes life interesting.
