is plastic surgery the solution?

a tv show has been giving plastic surgery to some people (just 2 actually, a woman and a man).. i think it is some sort of promotion for the famous doctor. The first one was an internet sensation that many people bashed because of his looks. The second is a girl that was cheated on by her boyfriend. I'm not really against this, but then this kind of promotes plastic surgery as a quick solution instead of going the long and hard way. I am happy for them though, it seems like they have found more confidence after the surgery.

Plastic surgery can be important if someone has physical problems to correct. For some people life is a nightmare if they are born with a ridiculously big nose or other similar problems.

I know the guy you are referring to my friend but I am quite surprised that there is also a girl who was being offered a plastic surgery aside from Mr. M. May I know who's the girl?

@hereandthere was right @sw8sincere, her transformation just aired last Sunday. I think she went viral in a certain video where she said she lets her boyfriend go or something i do not know her name though

I think it is good for those who could afford it and are willing to go under knife. Would you like to undergo plastic surgery to alter your parts of body?

If you can afford it and it is something that is needed then I am for it. If not and it is just for cosmetic appeal and you don't really need it then it is a waste of money and time.

if i were in an accident, or if i was born with a congenital defect, i probably would accept, if offered, but i would insist that it's still close to what i look like, not 180 degrees.

yes, that could be another reason to do it, let's hope it never comes to that though

I saw a documentary about plastic surgery recently. I think it would definitely help people who are affected badly due to accidents, or have severe defects and all that. But many people do it only to enhance their look and appeal and in some cases it could be risky too.

indeed, especially if they choose shady places to do it to save money... it ends up deforming them instead

@lady1993 Exactly. It's scary how the surgery could go wrong.

If it is not necessary, I don't agree to the plastic surgery. Actually some famous movie stars had failure plastic surgery and they looked ugly after that. It is sad to see that.

@lady1993 Even if it is risky, some people still want to have the plastic surgery.

I do think it is a choice for people to undergo cosmetic surgery procedures. But then, it should not be overdone.

I personally would never undergo a plastic surgery. Not because I do not need it, but because one, I am scared of surgeries; two, I do not have enough money; and three, I am contented about the way I look. However, I have nothing against plastic surgery. I thought it is a very good science advancement. And I have nothing against the TV show promoting it either. I thought it is dong a good job in helping people.

I would not do plastic surgery. Let me use the long length that comes with other benefits.
