The telethon has not ended but I will finish watching it from my bed. The telethon has been done for 23 years to help disabled children mainly although it also helps all sorts of people with disabilities.
The telethon was started by Chile“s biggest name in television, Don Francisco. He worked for more than a decade in the US leading a big show in Spanish.
He is here now, as he has done all these years.
This telethon not only helps directly by building hospitals and bringing children from far away places to where they can be helped. But I have also noticed that a side effect is the conscience that people with disabilities must be helped through jobs according to their possibilities or laws that have even changed the way apartment buildings are made.
See you tomorrow, friends. Let us hope we reach the goal for this year.

This is a wonderful cause, to help disabled people survive and get the help they need. Jerry Lewis use to do telethons in the U.S., for victims of muscular-dystrophy.

These causes are very important. They also make people understand the special needs of some people. Telethons and other causes make us all think for a moment about how fortunate we are and humbly think that we can all join hands to help some.
