Questions I Would Never Even Think of Asking

What happens if a gambler wins more than a casino can afford to pay? I'll bet this wasn't a question you would have ever thought of asking either. This question is most peculiar to me because I figure enough people lose their money at those casinos so the owners should never NOT be able to pay anybody who wins! Hence! Sounds like a silly question. Not only is the question peculiar but the response was fascinating! Would you believe it? Casinos have actually run out of money!! More than once!! Guess it's true. There is no such thing as a dumb question!

A Casino must pay its debts, if not, the one who won can sue the Casino and oblige them to pay. This is how it works here.

That's how all legitimate businesses should operate in every country.

I haven't thought about the casino as it's none of my business. I haven't seen a casino yet.

I don't keep up with Trump's business dealings. I only heard people talking about his hotels on the radio. Didn't know he had casinos.

I am not worried about the casino owners. They know how to be the ones making the money.

I know that. But for all the people who lose money, they should at least pay the ones who win. "It's just business.", as the wise guyz like to say. Hypocrites! Of course, I don't why I should expect them to be honorable in their business dealings.

I'm really surprised that casinos have run out of money. I thought things would be stacked their way so that this couldn't happen.

The world will end long before a Casino runs out of money to pay off a bet. At a table, they would never allow a bet they could not afford to cover I would think
