They come up around September each year but with nature being erratic our Bougaivillea are just about making their presence By now our garden used to be a riot of colour. Atleast I am happy that they have started showing up. Bougainvillea is the main source of colour in our garden. I have about 8 shades. They last for months until it starts raining again. What colours your garden?

The many different shades really do sound beautiful... We need more flowers in our garden... But I really am not good with keeping up a garden so I never insist on what I think it needs...

When we were in Thailand the bougainvilleas were magnificent. It was really the right sort of climate for them. The purple one is the most common here.

Bougainvilleas are something I don't have in my yard, Always smiling. (I don't have a problem with them, I just don't have any.) Most people who have them here seem to have the ones with the purple flowers.
