All Wrapped Up!

The princess is here for a sleepover.
She was oh so helpful in getting the wrapping of ornaments and chocolate letters taken care of. I wrapped...she gave me the pieces of tape.
I had no labels so in tiny little letters we wrote names so they could be covered with the tags. Then we went shopping for tags....
Coming home, we discovered that we had mislabeled on chocolate letter and missed labelling two chocolate letters and one ornament.
We used a process of elimination and deductive reasoning to solve the mystery. Thank goodness the girls letters were all wrapped in Frozen wrap and the boys were wrapped in snowflake wrap.
One job done! Thank you Sandra, for all your help!

Oh gosh that is so cute, at least it is better than us. Using the same bags over and over again, bringing them back and forth haha! Good you had that little helper though, better than any of Santa's elves!

I'm using up the wrapping paper left from previous years. The bab of bags is a revolving. Every year we reuse as many as we can...then we save all the new ones. They go round and round.
There's one gift box that has been under our tree every Christmas for years!

@DesirousDreamer I'm Dutch. We recycled and reused before it was the thing to do.

This is what memories are made of. She is coming for a sleepover after school tomorrow (her regular Monday night at grandmas). I wonder what we will do tomorrow evening.

We had a good time. Then Sandra places all of the wrapped gifts in large gift bags under the tree....waiting for Boxing Day (the day we do our Christmas as a family)

@Morleyhunt You have a very special relationship, and I don't think that even distance can change that, you'll just both have to be really inventive as to how you choose to communicate.

She's trying to save her hugs. Every time I see her she gives me constant hugs. I will miss her more than anyone else. We already plan to Skype of FaceTime weekly.

It was nice to have someone to get me the pieces of tape. She thought I wrapped too slowly

@Morleyhunt hahaha! indeed, when handling a Scotch tape and 'both ends meet', it is harder to remove one end from the other, so the result is throwing that tape and cutting another one.
