All-Nighter

I am pulling an all-nighter tonight. I love doing so once in awhile because it's quiet and I have the house (in this case, the room) to myself. I get lots done, which usually involves cleaning.
It's 3:59am at the moment. A few minutes ago, I wanted some fresh air, so I went outside, where it's a whopping 24°. And I am wearing shorts. However, we're supposed to hit 61° today, so it's all good.
Since it's going to be nice and sunny, I thought I would share a photo of the creek that runs behind us. I took this last week on a glorious sunny day.
In the meantime, I am drinking coffee and trying to catch up on here.
For those of you that have already gotten hammered by snow, I hope you get some of our nice weather sooner than later. Here in Colorado, we will be getting our fair share of snow soon enough.
Meanwhile, I am going to enjoy this December heatwave.

I've been in shorts quite a few days this month. But we are going to get a blast of Arctic air next week, and it's going to be here for a few days.

Yes, although it's weird. Sometimes when I go outside at night, when it's nice and quiet, you can't hear it.

I also like to stay up all night sometimes. It's cool cause the place is all my own, but I don't do it very often, because I don't really love sleeping all day.

It's really cold at night right now, but nice in the daytime. Winter will catch up with us soon enough. Meanwhile, I'll take wearing shorts in December anytime.

I used to do that, to get to stuff that I didn't have time for in the day. But, I am finding it tougher to do and I feel awful the next day if I haven't gotten any sleep. Glad that you got what you wanted to do done. Very pretty that creek.

Nights are usually so quiet and calm that I wonder about becoming someone who adopts a lifestyle of sleeping days and being up all night.
