Some Days Life Is Hard

Having a rough day today. Really feeling down. I know there is not much I can do except learn to move thru it each yr. December is supposed to be a Happy month due to being Christmas, and for us who are Christians remembering Jesus is the reason for the season.
December is really a hard month for me in so many different aspects. Back when I was a lot younger, back in 88, I was raped right outside the Amtrack station in Chicago. This happened in a Taxi even. Never reported it as I was getting the ride from them to be dropped off to take Greyhound to Washington State for Christmas.
Then about 22 yrs ago I would have had a baby, but had a miscarriage months earlier. So this time of yr always reminds me of what could have been. (I was not Married at the time, so I know it was for the Best.)
So sitting here today doing a little bit of Crying, and reflecting. In many ways feeling Sad wishing some things could have been different, but at the same time knowing I have come a long ways since then and God is continuing to Bless me.
So while at times I struggle, God is in control. So no matter of what you're going thru even at the times life seems hardest, continue to hang on. Life does get better from here.

I know that although there are bad things in everyone´s lives, it is important to dwell on the good things. Live would be unbearable if we do not catch a falling star ... and save it for a rainy day, as the song says.

You should have told some one at least! I can't imagine that creep getting away from it all while you were scarred and lost a baby. I'm sure GOD had done something to avenge you and thank you for sharing us this story. I hope you are doing great now compare before.

I'm sorry for the hard memories your having today. =(
Whenever you get a chance, watch one of Todd White's videos. They have helped me grow in my walk with God.
I will be praying that God comforts you during the hard times.

I'm sorry to hear your story. My life is hard too. I have a weak personality and have so many struggles but I just move on and keep standing still. You are not alone

I'm so sorry you went through that. It does make certain times of the year more difficult. I'm so glad God is in control of your life. I agree - It can only get better from here.

Oh..very sad. You should not recollect such things. You must be dare enough to come out of it if possible fighting against the God even if he is so merciless. I never care and excuse even God for such things. He did a lot of injustice to you that too...on Christmas Day.

I know this is an older post from you, but I was searching for something I could relate to, and found this. I am pregnant, and my doctor has told me it is not a viable pregnancy and will end up in miscarriage... now I have to wait for the inevitable. Thank you for sharing your story. You are not alone. *hugs*
