Organizing My Work-at-Home Projects – MyLot Weekly Sign In

Happy New Year

Organizing my WAH (work at home) projects for next year 2018. Applying the 80/20 rule (or Pareto Principle). Of a truth I didn't really do the math. I didn't need to because I know how much effort and energy I expend on my various home biz projects, so I'm working off a “ballpark figure”. Started several make money online initiatives during 2017 and upped the ante on some of my projects that I have had ongoing for a few years now and got more aggressive with my marketing strategy. For the first time, I can calculate the financial rewards from: * joining social blogging communities and forums that pay, * monetizing my blogs, * maintaining affiliate marketing websites, * social media marketing, and * freelance writing and * my other work efforts aimed at generating consistent income. As a result, my Daily To Do List was adjusted and instead of signing in daily at MyLot, I will only be signing in weekly. That way I have more hours in the day to devote to the work that is earning income quicker. MyLot is a discussion site that has consistently paid me so it will not be forsaken. Not that anybody notices when I'm not here. I'm just letting y'all know that when you're not noticing that I'm not here, there's a reason why I'm not here. This is not a resolution. This is a work plan and I aim to stick to it! (I have to give myself a mental pep talk.) Those are my plans for the new year. Looking forward to 2018 and beyond! Do you have any plans for the new year? https://www.investopedia.com/terms/p/paretoprinciple.asp

I think my lack of organization is what caused me to spend so much time on my laptop. I aim to fix that.

@paigea - I can't get off my laptop. If I do, I'll have to do housework.

@LadyDuck - LOL. Sorry. I don't text. My kids do. But what I've noticed about people who text is they have all these kinds of abbreviations. I don't know what dictionary or reference book they use but they seem to understand each other. I decided to do my own abbreviating. But since I know the person won't know what I'm talking about I usually put the meaning in a parenthetical note. (I forgot the parentheses and) I guess you didn't connect the phrase next to it. T2MIB = Try to make it better. MIAGG MF = Make it a great day, my friend!

Sounds like a good plan, I might take note and apply the Pareto Principle too! I plan to go back to full time work too but would like to carry on the work from home projects to earn some extra money for luxuries!

many people who return to a fulltime job continue their online work efforts. Hope your return to work goes well!

@cmoneyspinner I have a few things I need to be getting on with so I might incorporate some of those into monthly goals.

The end of the year is always the best time. You are usually slowing down for the holidays, taking a breather, and you actually have some time to think!
