The fast food chain Chick-Fil-A whose headquarters are in Atlanta Georgia played the role of being in the right place at the right time on Sunday feeding the passengers who were stranded at the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport due to a blackout on Sunday morning.
Normally the Chick Fil-A stores are closed on Sunday due to the religious belief of the founder of the company the late S. Truett Cathy that the stores that he owned should be closed on Sunday since it a rest day.
Chick-fil-A decided to perform a service of assisting at least 5,000 passengers with food from their stores that are close to the airport free of charge.
Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed thanked the fast food chain for their service in assisting the passengers who were stranded in the airport during the blackout which ended about 11 hours later or around 10 pm Atlanta time.
Lesson to be learned is that even though Chick-fil-A beliefs clash with their customer base in terms of their spiritual beliefs, they will come to the aid of someone who needs it even it is on a rest day.

That is true. Even bad people do good deeds when they are needed.

Chick-Fil-A saw the chance to help other people in need. That is awesome.

Despite the heat that Chick-fil-A gets from the media for their spiritual beliefs, they are good people.

@KristenH I have not eaten at a Chick-fil-A since my relatives and I eat at other restaurants like Wendy's or Checkers.
