I am recently into baking now. I usually search for recipes, well, simple recipes and I will try to do it and if i did OKAY then I will do a little complicated recipes. That picture of muffins or cupcakes- I made it last Monday for our very early Christmas lunch and an early birthday celebration. Later that night, I also tried to baked a simple chocolate cake. Ha! The top was a little burnt, it had a crust! Haha! Anyway, I'd love learning more about baking and also cooking. I cook lunches 3-4 times in a week for 6-10 people and I really do enjoy the kitchen work. Any suggestions or recommendations for a simple recipes for Christmas? Your cupcakes look good, I usually bake the "Christmas Log" cake for the holiday, I think I will have time to do it on Saturday.

I baked an apricot cake yesterday for my friends who come on Tuesdays. There is less than half of it left

@therealmaryyy You can make any kind of fresh fruit cake by simply adding the halved fresh fruit over the dough.

How about snickerdoodles? I like making them for people at Christmas because they were my late mother's favorite cookie.

Boxes of brownie mix are easy and usually good. Walmart makes a good potato salad that can be doctored up a little, just adding some mayo and pickles. Keep trying, your cupcakes turned out well!

I bought brownie mix the other day because I wanted to make a cookies and cream brownies but I didn't have the time to make. I will definitely make it whenever I get the chance to.
