The main cause of the strike is low wages being unable to balance rising prices. They kept complaining about having to apply for some cash advance because their salaries couldn’t see through the month. When they got their salaries, the amount was no longer full. It had to be cut for the cash advance they got. “If our salaries had been raised, we wouldn’t have been on strike,” said one of the strikers. “We will hold out till our demand is fulfilled,” said another. Low salaries cannot keep up with rocketing prices. But if they don’t work, it’ll be even worse.

I hope the company will do some compromise situation with the laborers. It will be a big problem for both parties.

That is a difficult position to be in. I am lucky to never have had to strike.

It'stheir right to strike specially if there's a problem with the company or if the owners are being way too greedy.

This is the usual old story, if they raise the salaries soon after the prices will raise again and this will never stop causing inflation and making the products no more competitive to be exported.

This must be a great worry for your country. It is very hard for some people who are on low wages.

That is pretty common nowadays. Inflated prices lead to high living costs. Workers at the bottom of the wage structure will definitely struggle.

They have right to do so as long as the strike is still within tolerance.
