with holidays,comes the cookies.and cakes.and assorted s**ttons of candy. relatives have been buying and dropping it off all week. good lord,enough. now,i know what's gonna happen.every year,i get stuck with uneaten loads of it taking up space.i can't even seem to give it away. i personally don't even like sweet food.my family does to a point. send me cheese.lots and lots of cheese.i'll eat that.

..and y'all keep that nasty fruitcake business to yourself.i already got a doorstop.

Nasty fruitcake?? That reminds me of a person that I used to know. She hated pizza then admitted that she'd only eaten frozen pizza. My home done fruitcake is scrumptious and the real deal, including butter.

I hated fruitcake until I tried the one that my aunt made. That's probably THE only one fruitcake I can eat.

Lol! That is why I think of the person first before I give my self-made cookies and cakes. Those are made out of love but I would not give this food to my friends whom I think would not appreciate it. It is just a waste of my time and effort and I will get hurt if I would know that it is thrown out in the bin.

I can understand you, though.
