“What's an important lesson you have learned recently or in the past?”

Being connected to people, we learned something from being with them. Sometimes we forget to know them first before building a good relationship. There are times that we thought that these people are considered ‘back fighter.’ ‘Can we blame ourselves for building a friendship with them?’ I think it happens for a reason. It is how we know ourselves better and learns from knowing their real persona. Thus, we still need to be sensitive enough to trust people before building a good relationship with them. “Are there any friends of yours betrayed you?” “Do you trust a person that easily?” Image Credit: pixabay.com

I do have a few friends to keep. I am so tired dealing with people who are not trustworthy.

I stopped believing after seeing the true colors of some friends, it's better to be far from such people.

I am not sure where I got the mind reading skill. Perhaps I had acquired this skill when dealing with people who are 'back fighters.' Once I had processed knowing them, I will try my best to stay away from or cut the communication with them.

i am a trusting person. but if that trust is betrayed, i will consider that person a non-entity, even severing my ties with him or her. a typical Scorpio, i am trustworthy, brutally honest, caring, loving even to friends, but you don't have to bite me, because i sting deadly with a venom.

I agree. If I am being betrayed, there will be no second chance to regain my trust. A big word TRUST is one thing that I considered having true friend.

@ridingbet I do agree with that. This is what I am trying to let these people know for the first meeting with them.

I don't have many friends that I bond with. I'm not a very trusting person, more of an Introvert.

At present, I stayed away with some friends whom I think it is not worth to be a part of my life. I am an introvert person but I tend to be flexible mingling with people for the sake of working with these people. Thus, I still make a distance from them in terms of knowing my personal life.

I had an epiphany about a month ago. I realized that if a risk is greater than the reward then it's better to just let it go. I pursued something in my past which at the time I thought it was best for me. However it turned out to be nothing. Some people in my opinion will go to great lengths to achieve their desires but in the end wouldn't care much who will get hurt. I've known for a fact it's better to stay safe than risking anything.

I had some mistakes from the past and experienced a lot of risky situations. I had learned from doing it. There is no regret for being in such situations. I used them to decided what's best for me in the future by just looking back from the past.

I do not trust everybody. And you have to be cautious with whom you make friends. Most of the time we do mistakes.

I think it is better to be cautious than a friend who loves to destroy our credibility in the eyes of other people.

In an offline world I trusted a few friends but never thought that they are the ones who talked bad about me with others but I`m thankful knowing their true face Now, I`m more friendly but I don`t expect them to accept me as theirs I just enjoy being with them in good times and just stay quiet when they are not in a good mood

@m_audrey6788 I do agree with that. These people are good actors and can deceive us easily. Thus, we still need to be cautious.

I do understand you are pointing. I sometimes acted casual with those friends who have two faces. If I do this, then there is nothing to be talked about me especially in personal level concern.

The lesson I learned from my past experiences is that never trust anyone blindly. You might fall into trouble.

You said it right. I became so vigilant when dealing with people lately. They had taught me to be this way.
