We live near the beach

My hometown is near beaches. There are more than 5 beach resorts for people to spend their holidays in. Two of the resorts have cottages and hotels for people to spend the nights there.
Weekends and holiday seasons are the busiest time. All hotel rooms are reserved. Most people who live nearby only spend 4 to 5 hours on rhe beach.

It is Christmas here, so I wonder if some people fly there to spend the day at the beach.

Sounds like a lovely sight to see! I don't know if I would enjoy living by a beach, they are fun to go to every once in a while but all the people seems a bit much. But I am sure it is fun to go down by the beach and relax and maybe read every now and then.

Wow. You live in a beautiful area of the world with five amazing beach resorts close by. I think it looks quite sunny and tropical in your picture. I love to see tropical islands and palm fringed beaches. I live a few miles from a seaside town however it has got sinking mud and the sea goes far out. Therefore swimming isn't possible and it is would be dangerous to try. There is an old pier and several people have drowned by it. If staying on a tropical beach for long I apply a high factor sun cream.
