Thinking of a get together on New Year's Eve / myLot

I wish I could just stay at home having grilled fish or meat but my daughters want us to go out to witness fireworks show. It isn't that I don't like but I hate the rush and big crowd. What about you? Would you stay home or be among the crowd?

We'll probably celebrate at home and watch the fireworks later from our house's vantage point.

These days I would just prefer to stay home. There is a plan to check in to a hotel again to watch the fireworks but I told my son it's best that we stay home as I really miss being hone these days.

I stay away from big crowds. Instead I'm having a few friends for drinks, going to a local restaurant for dinner, and back to our place for dessert, firework displays in the distance, and TV.
