It's no secret that Hollywood continues to remake any movie they can get their grubby and greedy little hands on. From Jumanji to Batman to all the movies in between, there have been a ton of remakes. Some good, some bad and some just painful to watch.
However there are some movies that I think should be remade and haven't yet.
Back to the Future. Now that technology is way further advanced then it was when the series of movies were made, I think they could do a much better job making the movie.
What do you think? Is there a movie that you would like to see remade?

@NJChicaa I'm sure there are plenty of people that would like that, I read the book, saw the play and the movie. So it would be worth watching.

Yes, 'Cheaper by the Dozen' It's a very old movie, with a beautiful family story.

They remade it with Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt. There's actually a first and second one.

Oh yes, that would be an awesome remake. The movie Rebecca which the original was done in 1939 or something should defintely be remade..Catherine Zeta Jones would make an awesome Rebecca.

@thislittlepennyearns I don't know. some 1930's actress..it is based on a various famous novel by Daphne DuMaurier..very Hitchcock esque.

There are a couple of old movies that should be remade using the latest technology. They were the best of all others despite the first color movie technology.

There are also some older ones that shouldn't be remade. Wizard of Oz is one that got remade, and shouldn't of.

That's good thinking. Back to the Future would be so much better now, if they did it right and invested the money necessary to make the special effects top-notch.

@thislittlepennyearns Yes, Christopher Lloyd is still alive, and could still play Doc. I'm with you about Marty, it will take some seriously good casting to find someone who can fill Michael J. Fox's shoes!

I don't know who could even fill it. How old was Fox when he was in the movie. I don't even know about teen actors anymore. I got old. But I will murder someone if this does happen and someone like Bieber was in the role.

I don't really know who could play Marty and do him justice, but isn't Christopher Lloyd still alive? Couldn't he still play Doc?

@thislittlepennyearns no, the name is the same but the actors and crew have said many times especially when it was first mentioned as going to be made, that its not a remake.
